uTorrent กลายเป็นโปรแกรมโหลดบิตอันดับแรกๆ ที่นักโหลดบิตนึกถึงไปเสียแล้ว กับโปรแกรมโหลดบิตขนาดเล็กที่สุดในโลก ด้วยขนาดที่ไม่ถึง 1 MB แต่เปี่ยมไปด้วยความสามารถเทียบชั้นโปรแกรมโหลดบิตรุ่นใหญ่ทั้งหลาย เนื่องจากโปรแกรมมีขนาดเล็กแถมยังสามารถทำงานแบบ portable จึงทำให้โปรแกรมนี้เป็นที่ติดใจแก่ผู้ใช้งานได้ไม่ยาก โปรแกรมกินทรัพยากรเครื่องน้อยมากๆ เมื่อเทียบกับโปรแกรมโหลดบิตตัวอื่น สำหรับการอัพเดทในครั้งนี้ก็เน้นการแก้ไขบั๊กเป็นหลัก แต่จุดเด่นที่เพิ่มขึ้นมาก็เห็นจะเป็นการใส่โปรแกรมเล่นไฟล์วีดีโอภายในตัวเอง ทำให้เราสามารถพรีวิวไฟล์วีดีโอที่เราโหลดมาจากตัวโปรแกรมได้ทันที นอกจากนั้นก็ยังมีการปรับปรุงการเขียนไฟล์ลงฮาร์ดดิสให้เร็วขึ้น ปรับปรุงหน้าจอการทำงานให้ผู้ใช้สะดวกในการใช้งานมากขึ้น เป็นต้น

uTorrent is a powerful and efficient BitTorrent client for Windows. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in uTorrent including bandwidth prioritization scheduling RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT. Additionally uTorrent supports the protocol encryption joint specification and peer exchange. Unlike many torrent clients it does not hog valuable system resources--typically using less than 6MB of memory allowing you to use the computer as if it werent there at all.

Whats new in this version:

- New: Devices node allows you to add a target device such as an Apple device and then drag in-format content to that device. The devices node is hideable.

- UI optimizations make torrent pane update drastically faster for updating many torrents
